“Good luck!” I hear myself say to a friend the other day wishing her well on a project she’s completing.  But as soon as the words leave my mouth, I think to myself, “What’s luck got to do with it?”

It’s one of those little phrases we get in the habit of saying to each other as a way of sending along our best wishes for someone’s success. But in reality, “luck” has nothing to do with it.

So many of us have been taught that luck is somehow a reward for good behavior or hard work, or that we receive luck as a matter of fate.  We wish each other luck in everything from winning a competition to scoring the right numbers on a slot machine or landing that perfect job. However, luck suggests coincidence or chance, when what has actually happened is that we focused our vibration and attention on something that brought us right to the place we were meant to be. So, regardless of where we believe luck plays a part in our day-to-say life, it’s important to understand how the Law of Attraction works in relation to our belief about luck.

The most important thing we can do is take full responsibility for the fact that we are the deliberate creators of our own lives. And as deliberate creators, we are constantly creating our reality by the thoughts we think, the beliefs we hold, and the vibrational set point we find ourselves at because deliberate creation is deliberate vibration. If we know what we want to create, have complete clarity about the outcome we desire, and take the time to align ourselves with that outcome, then luck transforms into an act of manifestation, and not an act of divine reward. You see, the Universe bringing us what we want is not so much an answer to our prayers as it is being in complete vibrational alignment with what we want because what we think about expands, whether it’s what we want or what we don’t want.

Abraham-Hicks says, “We would say, someone 100% of the time connected to Source is really lucky.  And what we mean by that is that there is no chance.  Arbitrary things don’t happen.”

So how do you begin to prime yourself for this kind of connection to Source?  You can begin by asking yourself a series of questions to see where your mindset may or may not be holding you back. I suggest you take out a piece of paper and write down your responses.

~ Am I completely clear about what I want? If not, how can I get clear?

~ How might my mindset be contributing to manifesting (or not manifesting) what I truly desire?

~ Can I actually see and feel myself receiving this desire?

~ What one thing can I do to take a step in the direction of my desire today?

~ How do I see the Law of Attraction playing out in my life right now?

~ Do I see a limiting pattern in myself? How does it do disservice to me?

~ Do I feel like a victim to my circumstances?  If so, what small steps can I begin to take to take full responsibility for where my life is and where I want it to go?

When you have answered all of these questions, the next step is to see what actions need to take place in order to bring you one step closer to your desire and this is where a Life Coach comes in. A Life Coach can help you work through any limiting beliefs and patterns that are not serving you so that you can start living the life you truly desire.

So now I wonder, “What can I say to someone instead of good luck!”? I came up with a few and also asked around for some suggestions. Here’s a few we collaboratively came up with:

~ Good manifesting!

~ Onward deliberate creator!

~ Give it your all!

~ Go for it!

~ Make it happen!

~ May the force be with you!

~ Believe in your success!

~ Expect success!
